JR pass exchange order is valid for 3 months from the issue date.
The reason why we ask you to put a date(tentative plan) is to make sure you plan to activate it within 3 months or not.
You can start using your pass right away or you can select a day for the first day to start using your pass at the time of activation in the JR exchange office.
Please note that the Regional Pass is only eligible for a foreign tourist visiting Japan from abroad for sightseeing, under the foreign tourist visiting Japan.
*Japanese passport holders or Japanese residents cannot be used.

Please note that our Office will be closed on June 13th and 14th, and the JR passes local pick up will be not available. Orders placed on June 13th and 14th will be processed and shipped on Monday, June 17th. Please be aware that Xpresspost and FedEx delivery times will be longer than usual.
J-Station at Richmond office Pick-up for JAPAN RAIL PASS Exchange Order 【2024/04】

Pickup will be ready on/after 3 pm on the next day.
e.g.
・If you ordered the JR pass on Monday. Your pass will be ready to pick-up on Tuesday on/after 3pm.
・If you ordered during the weekend, Your pass will be ready to pick-up on Monday on/after 3 pm.

Pick up hours: Mon-Fri 10:00am -12:00pm / 3:00pm - 5:00pm (Close: Saturday ,Sunday and holiday)
